Sometimes I wonder if websites have become too complicated.
When I open many modern blogs, I often see animations, cookie banners, newsletters, pop-ups, and dozens of widgets before I even reach the first paragraph.
I don't dislike technology. In fact, I enjoy Linux, AI, and experimenting with new tools.
But sometimes...
I just want a page with words.
No distractions.
No infinite scrolling.
No algorithm trying to predict what I should read next.
Just a title, some paragraphs, and a quiet place to think.
That's one reason I appreciate the growing "small web" movement. It reminds me that the internet wasn't always about maximizing engagement. Sometimes it was simply about people sharing ideas.
If you're reading this, I hope you have a wonderful day.
And maybe... close a few browser tabs. 🙂
